I am WordPress Developer in Sydney with more than 5 years of experience in WordPress development and I have work as web developer for more than 10 Years. I am currently working from home for local agency, and my new job provides me perfect balance for work and life.
I am sharing how my normal days goes by everyday, and this might be helpful for some of the newbie coming to the industry.
Morning Routines
I normally wake up by 6 am and hit the gym by 7 am and workout for an hour or 2 depending upon what time I reach gym.
I am sharing this because I think maintaining a healthy life is possible and quiet important. For last 5 months I had been able to cut down weight and PBF significantly. Working out early morning really increased my concentration and focus during working hours.
8:45 to 9:45 am – Zoom Meetings
My zoom meetings starts at 9 am every morning. After having a breakfast, I start preparing for meetings at 8 45 am. Normally during this time, we discuss about how we finished a day before and how the day look ahead in terms of work priorities.
9:45 to 10 am – Quick walk and coffee
One of the best part of my work is I have an hour for lunch and I can break this 1 hour as I want. I normally go for 15 mins coffee and 45 mins lunch break.
10 am to 12 15 PM – Work
From 10 am till 12 15 PM, I work looking starting from where I left a day before and hitting the targets for the day.
My work can be anything related to:
1. WordPress development
2. Front end development
3. SEO Audits and suggestions
4. Design Audit – feedback for better SEO, UI/UX, Speed optimzation etc
5. Setting up demo sites in Cpanel/Pleask
6. And of course lot of bug fixings
12 15 PM to 12 45 PM – Lunch and Short walk
12 45 PM to 2 PM – Repeat work
2PM – 2:15 PM – Afternoon meeting
2:15PM – 6 PM – Repeat work
6 30 – 7 PM – Dinner
I normally go for short walk or run after dinner, in cases when I cant go for either I do a cardio at home.
I chill for sometime wathcing Youtube and make sure go to bed by 10 30 and make sure I have at least 7 hours of sleep everyday.
